Nature writing is the opportunity to connect in new ways with the natural world. For centuries, writers have composed poems, stories, essays, and journals to explore, celebrate, and understand nature. Together we will explore creative exercises and inspiring texts to have fun with words and our thoughts and insights in a guided, friendly natural environment. Writers of all experience levels - or none - are invited. Participate in as many of the sessions as you are able; Zoom will be available for those who cannot participate in person. Bring your notebook or journal. Register for each session individually online at https://landisarboretum.org/.../connecting-with-nature... Instructor: Gert Coleman Location: The Welcome Center Dates: July 13 and 27, August 10 and 17 Registration: $5 per session This event is funded in part by Poets & Writers with public funds from the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of the Office of the Governor and the New York State Legislature.
