Montgomery County Kayak-A -Thon (One Way Excursion)

Kayaks, canoes, and
stand-up paddle
boards are all invited
to launch from
the St. Johnsville
Municipal Marina
Launch at 1 Marina,
Drive, St. Johnsville
and travel east along the Mohawk River, through
Locks 14 and 15, and conclude their paddle at the
Riverfront Park in Canajoharie.
Check-in will begin at 8am at the St. Johnsville
Municipal Marina Launch . Participants can drop
their kayaks, canoes, and paddle boards, and then
park. Event parking will be available at the Riverfront
Park at 143 Church Street in Canajoharie, NY,
with shuttle service provided back to the boat
launch. A post-event lunch will be available for registered
participants.
SCHEDULE OF EVENTS:
8:00AM—Check-in at St. Johnsville Municipal Marina
9:15am—Safety Meeting
9:30am—Launch from the St. Johnsville Municipal
Marina
12pm—Kayakers being to arrive at the Riverfront
Park in Canajoharie
12:30pm—3pm: Lunch and prizes
Kayak Rentals Available: A limited number of kayak
