The Ledge: A New Musical by Raphael Jae is seeking talented actors/singers for its World Premier workshop production! The Ledge tells the dual stories of Roy and Aurora, two young adults navigating the fallout of past choices. With a varied score and book ranging from dramatic to highly comedic, The Ledge asks audiences ?Will you take the step? Or will you turn the page??. The Ledge will be presented as a script-in-hand staged reading at Gloversville?s Shoeleather Express. The Ledge tells the story of coffee shop worker, Roy, who, after meeting a new friend, Aurora, is forced to confront the ghosts of his past, while Aurora launches a revenge-fueled crusade against the corporation that ruined her life. With a lush, highly emotional score, The Ledge is a study on human nature, our willingness and capacity to forgive both ourselves and others, and how to move past trauma into our next chapter.
