Pint 'N Print: Tetra Pak Intaglio with Saratoga Arts
Come enjoy a fun evening where you can try out printmaking! This event is an informal activity where you will learn the basics of Tetra Pak intaglio. Reusing tetra pak package (think the containers chicken stock comes in!) we will scratch and cut into the surface to draw an image. Then we will card and wipe ink onto the plate. Finally, we will put it through the printing press to reveal our prints! All materials and tools will be provided for the class. BYOB! Feel free to bring a drink of your choice to the class. $32 member/$40 non-member
Lilac Spray in Mixed Media at Paul Nigra Center for Creative Arts
A beginner-friendly art class! This soft, impressionist rendering of a branch (or two) of lilacs requires no previous experience and mixes easy watercolor background techniques with chalk pastel for the fuzzy shapes of the main flower clusters and dabs of acrylic paint for the individual blossoms.
