Couch to 5k - Spring at Fulton County YMCA
Our Couch to 5k is a beginner-friendly running program that aims to get people from being non-runners to completing their first 5k race in just 8 weeks. It combines walking and running intervals and is designed to make running more accessible for beginners. Our Couch to 5k will be held every Friday at 7:30am.
American Cancer Society Relay for Life at Gloversville High School

We encourage you to invite friends and family currently living with cancer or survivors to attend and join in the celebration. All attendees of the event are asked to line the track during the survivor lap and cheer on our survivors. Pro tip: Bring noise makers, pom-poms, anything you bring to a pep rally to cheer those survivors on! Celebration of Caregivers After the Survivor Lap, caregivers are invited to join the survivors. A caregiver is a friend or family member that helped a person with cancer, regardless of if they are still with us. It may even be a healthcare worker. Attendees are again asked to line the track and cheer for our caregivers! Meaningful Luminaria We will take time to remember those we have lost to cancer and reflect on the journey of those who have survived. At most events, after the sun sets, Relay teams help light pre-made luminaria bags that are dedicated in honor, or in memory, of a loved one. If you would like to make a donation or fundraise with luminaria - you can do so here. Opportunity to Fight Back We come together as a community to fight back against cancer. Invite your family and friends to attend the event and support you and your fellow Relayers' fundraising efforts. Commit to finding ways to fight back against cancer.

The band brings a fresh take on the Grateful music that you know and love while placing an emphasis on improvisation, unique setlist construction, deeper cuts into the grateful songbook and a primal energy that they draw from their loyal fans during live performances. With past performances at Lark Hall, Putnam Place, Unihog, Rustic Barn and many other headlining shows around the Capital region, the word has gotten out about this band. Composed of veteran musicians from numerous local groups like Formula 5, Slipknot! (80's/90's Dead tribute), Stone Revival Band, Knot Dead, Jocamo, and more, this combination of players has set out to push the boundaries of the standard Dead tribute. ​The group of Joe Davis (Formula 5), Mike Urbon (Knot Dead), Mike Cassels (Stone Revival Band, Jocamo, Knot Dead), Mike McDonald (Formula 5, Knot Dead) and Doug Klein (Slipknot, Robanic, Knot Dead) were re-inspired playing the music of the Grateful Dead, Jerry Garcia Band, Ratdog, and others. While existing in an endless sea of 1970's era Grateful Dead tributes, this group strives to separate itself with a dedication to unique arrangements of setlists and song segues, utilizing extended improvisation, playing deeper cuts from all eras of the Dead, JGB, and Ratdog songbook.
