The Paul Nigra Center for Creative arts Presents it's 11th annual New York State summer Art Show, celebrating the work of artists from across New York. This exhibition includes over 120 pieces in a variety of media by more than 60 New York Artists.

Join the Fulton County Historical Society on special Thursday mornings for Hands on History at the museum! Each week, we?ll focus on a different theme and use our exhibits and collections to explore these themes in local history. We?ll finish the morning with a craft activity. This FREE program is geared toward kids ages 5-10, but all kiddos welcome! How do historians learn about the past? Examine items from the museum's collection and become a Junior Historian! We?ll learn techniques that historians use to identify the mystery items and what they were used for. Then enjoy a scavenger hunt through the museum!
Make memories with a story and pet rock craft
Drop in and join us for a program on Daily Life During the Revolutionary War on July 9, 2026 at 2 pm in the Great Hall of the Arkell Museum and Canajoharie Library. Learn about daily life in the Revolutionary War Era through this hands on program, try on historic style clothing, try your hand at writing with a quill pen, check out historic documents, and examine the kit of a Revolutionary War soldier. This is a free program for all ages. Fun and great for kids and families.

Our next show is right around the calendar's corner! Three artists will be displaying in three mediums: Pamela Sunday's Bots highlights her incredible ceramic inventions, while Dawn Bisio's SEA CHANGE will flood the ground floor of our gallery from on high, as Paul Sunday's raucous Color Theory graces the walls. The show will run from July 9 to September 5, with an opening reception the first night. Don't miss this!
