Flooded Assemblage Art with Jake Willerth at Paul Nigra Center for Creative Arts
Emulate the art of Liliana Porter! Inspired by contemporary artist Liliana Porter, this class will introduce students to the art of flooded assemblage! Students will coat a surface in thickened acrylic paint and arrange various small objects in these pools to create a flooded, modern aesthetic. Combining mixed media and texture opens the door to exploring all kinds of interesting new forms of art! The finished pieces will need to dry for at least 24 hours, so we recommend students leave them at the Nigra Arts Center after the class and pick them up at a later date. *Center Members receive a 20% discount.
