Mini Window Scenes with Jake Willwerth, Instructor at Paul Nigra Center
Design your own window vignette! In this class, we?ll make whimsical mini dioramas out of boxes, paint and a few well-placed craft items! First we?ll paint nighttime scenes on the inside of the boxes, then add window details, curtains, greenery and other objects to make your scene come to life. Johnstown Farmers' Market
Join local farmers, artisans, and vendors every Tuesday from June through October, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM, at Briggs Street & Jansen Avenue in the Johnstown Recreational Park. Shop for fresh, locally grown produce, handmade goods, baked treats, and more while supporting local agriculture and small businesses. Paint a beautiful floral scene! Preserve a touch of late-summer vibrant color with a still-life of cut zinnias and perhaps black-eyed Susans! We?ll start simple with one to three blooms in a simple vase with a coordinated background. Quick-drying, forgiving acrylic paint allows for corrections in process and limited shapes promise success.
