The Glove Theatre can't wait to welcome back - Back to the Garden (BTTG) 1969 - The Woodstock Experience! What a blast we had with them last year! The Woodstock Music Festival was the ultimate rock concert, a celebration of peace, love and music. More than fifty years later, BTTG brings you back to the music and that weekend. Formed by Gary Adamson in 2009, this is a group of versatile musicians and singers who have come together to celebrate the music, and the spirit of the Woodstock Era. BTTG 1969 recreates the classic sounds associated with Woodstock. The musical performances are a tribute to the artists who made Woodstock great, including Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young, Jimi Hendrix, Sly &The Family Stone, Jefferson Airplane, Santana, Joe Cocker, Janis Joplin, The Band, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Canned Heat, Ten Years After, The Who, Mountain, Richie Havens, Melanie, Arlo Guthrie, Blood, Sweat & Tears, The Grateful Dead, Country Joe & The Fish,?and more! BTTG 1969 brings you a full multimedia theatrical event, recreating the Woodstock Experience through period costuming, lighting, video, and sound bites. Storytelling also enhances the mood, with tales of the festival, the legendary artists who performed, and the backdrop of the tumultuous decade of the 60?s. This is not your typical tribute band! Most tribute bands perform the music of only one artist. BTTG 1969 is a tribute to a very special moment in time, and to the many artists whose music will forever be known as ?Classic Rock.? From nostalgic Baby Boomers to intrigued Gen Z'ers, and all those in between, there is something in this show for EVERYONE! Grab your tie dye and love beads...and come celebrate Woodstock with us at The Glove! All ages welcome! 21+ to drink with valid ID
The Glove proudly welcomes back Against the Grayne for a night of 90s grunge, alt rock and beyond. Against the Grayne plays your favorites from the era with a few ?odds? thrown in for fun!! It?s going to be an awesome time! Here?s what Penny Piper/RadioRadiox.com had to say about last year?s show at The Glove: ?Let me just say it: Against The Grayne is the ?90s grunge cover band you didn?t know you needed in your life until you see them live. As a proud Gen Xer who came of age during the golden era of flannel, distortion, and angsty lyrics, their performance at the Glove Theatre on April 4 [2025] transported me straight back to 1993 in the best way possible. These guys don?t just play the music?they embody it. Covering artists like Layne Staley and Chris Cornell is no small feat. You need nerves of steel and actual talent to pull it off, and lead singer Luke Baird has both in spades. His voice has that deep, smooth edge that makes you do a double-take, and he?s got the guts to get up there and own it. It?s not just about hitting the notes?it?s about capturing the raw emotion and energy of an era, and Luke does just that.? ?The setlist was flawless, hitting all the essentials?from Alice In Chains to Sublime?and even throwing in a few surprises. When they busted out Montell Jordan?s ?This Is How We Do It,? the crowd absolutely lost it. Everyone was on their feet, screaming the lyrics and dancing like it was the summer of ?95 again. That moment? Pure magic. But what really sets Against the Grayne apart is who they are. They?re the real deal: warm, kind, hilarious, and totally engaged with the crowd. Their stage presence was as entertaining as their music. Between songs, they had us laughing, sharing stories, and feeling like we were part of the show. It?s rare to see a band that talented also be that down-to-earth?and it?s why I felt compelled to write this.? Against the Grayne headlined an evening at Cohoes Rock the Block summer series in 2023, 2024 and 2025! Dig out the flannels, ripped jeans and combat boots and come have a fun night with us enjoying your favorites from the 90s! This show is sponsored by the Glove?s 518 Concert Series ? support live local 518 music!!!! All ages welcome! 21+ to drink with valid I.D.
The Glove Theatre is proud to welcome THE JONI PROJECT -- CELEBRATING THE MUSIC OF JONI MITCHELL featuring Katie Pearlman and her band! The Joni Project is thrilled to be making their Gloversville debut! The Joni Project formed as a tribute in sound and spirit to Joni Mitchell, one of music?s greatest and most innovative artists. The band is fronted by New York's remarkable multi-instrumentalist and singer Katie Pearlman, who impressively plays Joni's songs in their original open guitar tunings; and includes jazz and jam band mainstays Dave Berg (guitar), Dan Ehrlich (bass), Alan Lerner (drums), Mark Mancini (keyboards), and Premik Russell Tubbs (saxophone and flute). Collectively, they?ve performed with members of the Grateful Dead, The Band, The Doors, the Neville Brothers, and so many others. Premik Russell Tubbs alone has played with Carlos Santana, Whitney Houston, Sting, James Taylor, Lady Gaga, Herbie Hancock, and more. Together, they bring fresh interpretation to Joni?s legendary tunes from their many eras and genres ? particularly from the time of her stunning and dynamic collaboration with Jaco Pastorius, Pat Metheny and Michael Brecker. But The Joni Project celebrates it all! - from Both Sides Now, Big Yellow Taxi, Chelsea Morning and Help Me, to Raised on Robbery and Free Man in Paris. If you're a fan of Joni Mitchell, or if you just enjoy a brilliant jazz/jam inspired band, this is a show you won't want to miss! ''The Joni Project is quite simply the finest and most musically sophisticated tribute to Joni on the scene today!'' - Jim Faith - New York concert promoter and producer of The Great South Bay Music Festival. The Glove Theatre is proud to welcome The Bell Bottom Blues -- The Live Eric Clapton Experience Show! The Bell Bottom Blues (BBB) was formed in 2007 with the vision of providing an audience with a true Eric Clapton Experience. Through its evolution, the band has been carefully constructed to create the essence of the Clapton sound, from his guitar arrangements to his distinctive vocal sound. This is what separates The Bell Bottom Blues from all others and makes us unique in the market. Audiences and fans say that ?they close their eyes during a show and swear that are at a Clapton concert?. That's what the band sets out to achieve. Through each band member?s dedication, professionalism, and hard work, they've captured the sound and essence of the master himself through his various stages, from Cream, the Dominoes, and through his entire solo career. Our ''Eric Claption'' captures his guitar styling AND his vocal sound, which allows BBB to truly pay tribute to this rock and blues icon. BBB's goal is to allow audiences to really feel like they are participating in an actual EC live event. They've played at many notable venues including Iridium NYC, BB Kings NYC, City Winery, Havana?s PA, New Hope Winery PA, Mcloone?s Supper Club NJ, The Stone Pony, Daryl?s House, Infinity Theater Ct, Courthouse Center for Arts Ri, Count Basie Theater NJ, Tally Ho Theater VA, Downtown Cabaret Ct, Lamp Theater PA, Paramount Theater NY, Dean Center PA, The Amp Theater DC, Dean Center MA, Tin Pan VA, Grand Casino, Harrah's Casino, Empire City Casino, Resorts Casino, Foxwoods Casino, Hard Rock Casino, and Outdoor Summer Concert Series along the east. BBB was recently endorsed by Bobby Whitlock, Co-founder of Derek & The Dominos and co-writer with Clapton on the Layla Album. ?The best Dominos band I ever heard? ~Bobby Whitlock. We can't wait to have BBB play on The Glove's stage! All ages welcome! 21+ to drink/purchase adult beverages.
