Financial Analyst

What does a Financial Analyst do?

Are you a talented financial professional looking for a rewarding career? We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Financial Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will collaborate with the Accounting and Program teams to develop, implement, and monitor the agency's annual budget and Consolidated Fiscal Report (CFR). You'll ensure timely and accurate completion of these financial reports and present key insights to executive leadership and the Board of Directors.

Key responsibilities include analyzing financial data, preparing reports, and developing models to support strategic decision-making. You will also identify and recommend improvements in response to budget variances, working cross-functionally to evaluate performance, forecast trends, and drive operational efficiency. Success in this role requires a solid understanding of financial principles, strong communication skills, and proficiency in Excel and other financial analysis tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Accounting is required
• 5 years of experience in Financial Analysis is required, experience in non-profit health care or human service environment is preferred
• Experience working with Microsoft Office is required
