Center Aide/Bus Monitor Part Time
Fulmont Community Action – Center Aide NY1496510 (Amsterdam, NY)
General Information:
• $15.75 hourly, part-time.
• Monday – Friday, Day shift.
• Responsible for safety and well-being of the Head Start children while in the classroom.
• Adhere to all Agency safety policies as well as any State, Federal or other applicable safety regulations.
• Follow all Fulmont, Head Start, and NYS Day Care Regulations, Policies and Procedures.
• Assist children during loading/unloading of the bus monitor safety during transport to and from Head Start Center.
• Accurately completed Bus Accountability Checklists.
• Monitor behavior of children on the bus and report concerning behavior directly to the Transportation Manager.
• Communicate information regarding bus route changes to the transportation Manager.
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Previous work experience in a preschool setting and/or transportation preferred.
• Reliable transportation required.
• First Aid/CPR Certification a plus.
