What does a Registered Nurse do?
The Registered Nurse is responsible for nursing care and caseload management of nursing-related care for individuals in the residential program. This includes planning and coordinating all aspects of medical care and healthcare maintenance. It also includes clinical nursing supervision of LPNs and direct support staff as assigned including the nursing supervision of medication-trained staff in the residences assigned. The Registered Nurse is the medical "liaison" for the person being supported, the interdisciplinary team, physicians, and other medical service providers.
