RN Job Summary:
- Assessing, observing, and speaking to patients
- Recording details and symptoms of the patient's medical history and current health
- Administering medications and treatments and then monitoring patients for side effects and reactions
- Creating, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans with the medical team
- Performing wound care, such as cleaning and bandaging them
- Operating and monitoring medical equipment
- Drawing blood, urine samples, and other body fluids for lab work
- Educating patients and family members on treatment and care plans, as well as answering their questions
- Supervising licensed practical nurses and nursing assistants,
- Must have a valid RN license for NYS
- Must have excellent knowledge of nursing care methods and procedures
- In-depth understanding of health and safety guidelines and procedures
- A team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Outstanding organizational and multi-tasking skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills required
