Pharmacy Technician

** Sign-on bonus available for a *Certified* Pharmacy Technician – full-time position – $5,000.00**

Description:  The purpose of this job is to assist the Pharmacist in technical aspects of modern pharmacy practice in performing non-professional duties where clinical judgement is not required to free the Pharmacist for professional duties.

Required:

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Possess one (1) year of hospital Pharmacy Technician experience.
• Candidates must be eligible to obtain certification within a required timeframe and demonstrate a commitment to achieving certification.

Preferred:

• Possess a current New York State Certified Pharmacy Technician Registration.

Status:  8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. (40 hours)

Rate of Pay: $19.57 / HOUR
