Unit Manager

River Ridge Living Center is currently seeking a Full-Time Unit Manager who will be responsible for managing and supervising staff/residents, as well as LTC/sub-acute rehab patients.

Responsibilities:

. Admissions/Readmissions of Residents

. Initiate Care Plans and Update care plans

. Rounds with the attending Physician

. Complete progress notes, note vitals, weights, and pertinent changes with the resident

. Complete MDS for Residents specific to the Unit

. Ensure that resident comfort and safety are being maintained

. Ensure that the residents’ dignity and privacy are being attended to

. Provide advice and emotional support to patients and their family members

Qualifications:

. RN with experience in long-term care/sub, or acute care experience is a plus

. Familiarity with the Electronic medical record

  Two years of supervisory experience

. Ability to build rapport with patients/families and colleagues

. Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.

. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
