The Family Counseling Center of Fulton County is seeking an experienced Network Administrator to lead and support our growing IT infrastructure. About the Role:
As the Network Administrator, you will be responsible for the design, maintenance, and security of the agency’s computer networks, including servers, routers, firewalls, and clinical systems. You will lead and mentor a small IT team, manage projects, and ensure that our systems are compliant with HIPAA and New York State healthcare regulations. You’ll work closely with clinical and administrative teams to ensure stable access to Electronic Health Records (EHR) and other critical software.

What You’ll Do:

  • Design, configure, and maintain LAN, WAN, VPN, and server systems.
  • Oversee and support all network security, including firewalls and IDS.
  • Supervise and mentor the IT team; oversee hiring, training, and performance.
  • Monitor network performance and implement upgrades as needed.
  • Provide user support and training for hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
  • Ensure data integrity through backup systems and disaster recovery planning.
  • Collaborate with department leads and vendors to deliver reliable IT support.
  • Maintain system documentation, compliance logs, and network diagrams.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in network administration (healthcare preferred).
  • 1-2 years of supervisory or team leadership experience.
  • Relevant certifications (CompTIA Network+, Cisco CCNA, etc.) are a plus.
  • Proficiency in server administration, network protocols, and security compliance.
  • Experience supporting EHR systems and healthcare software is desirable.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to pass Medicaid exclusion screening and background check.
