Pay Range: The pay range is $24.55 to $35.10
Job Summary:
The Audit Coordinator will conduct operational, quality, financial and administrative audits designed to ensure compliance with Agency policy and applicable state and federal regulations. Auditors must identify best practices to ensure that performance and quality assurance outcomes are met. The position will work closely with the Operations staff in solution-based thinking to correct findings, improve quality and reduce risk of future non-compliance.
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree (BS/BA) in a related field OR Associate's Degree with two years of auditing or compliance experience is required.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Strong writing, communication and analytical skills.
- Must be able to read, write and speak the English language.
- Valid NYS Driver's License is required.
Major Responsibilities:
- Conduct Quality Assurance/billing, field and desk audits to understand and ensure compliance associated with OPWDD, OMIG, DQI, and other regulatory requirements and regulations. Compile and generate timely reports of audit findings and recommendations.
- Partner with Corporate Compliance Officer (CCO)/Program Administration to ensure plans of corrective action are prepared by Operations in a timely, comprehensive manner and address needed quality improvement and risks to individuals served and the agency as a whole.
- Monitor implementation and follow up to Plans of Corrective Action (POCA) and report status of all POCA's to the CCO monthly.
- Conduct on-site internal site reviews and program sites by completing a thorough checklist with collaborations from the Operations team.
- Present all completed audit findings at Exit Conferences as well as attending and presenting at Quarterly Corporate Compliance meetings.
- Maintain tracking/trending system for all elements of Quality Assurance (QA), and produce periodic reports.
- Maintain a working knowledge of regulations and agency quality assurance standards.
- Serve as a primary resource in providing education and training on Quality Assurance and regulatory compliance, in collaboration with the Operations team and training department.
- Assist Corporate Compliance Officer/Director of QA with other quality improvement activities as assigned.
