What does an Occupational Therapist Registered (OTR) do?

As a member of the Clinical Services team at The Arc Lexington the Occupational Therapist Registered (OTR) will evaluate and provide services for people requiring occupational therapy, ensuring comprehensive care within our residential and day support settings. Responsibilities include providing clinical guidance to department staff, training direct support and other relevant personnel in occupational therapy programs, and collaborating effectively within interdisciplinary teams. Strong communication skills are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications:

  • Must be licensed and registered as an Occupational Therapist by the New York State Department of Education.
  • Experience working with people with disabilities is Preferred.
  • A valid NYS driver's license that meets Agency standards is required.
